I see that March has started. I was also made aware that daylight savings started today. While I welcome the sun still being up at 5pm, I was bummed to realize that I was not getting up early today. I had all these grand plans of getting up at a reasonable hour, eating a real breakfast (read: not just coffee) and getting to study. Yes, I was going to be a model young adult. However, Meg informed me that we lost an hour and it pretty much derailed my day. Well, not entirely. I did get to studying at a decent time and worked literally until dinner which I felt to be productive. Anyway, enough with the boredom of real life.
Meg and I went to Milwaukee last weekend! Yes, I know all of you in warm, desirable climates are thinking that I'm crazy, but the Brew city really is a great time. We were able to visit with all sorts of college friends and catch a Marquette game on Saturday. I hope that I can get my hands on some pictures soon - we had a great time. It's been a while since I've spent a weekend drinking the time away. And in Milwaukee, one does that in the most literal of senses. Friday night found Panchito, my Marquette advisor Chris Foley and me closing a fairly entertaining dive bar called Steve's. I forgot how much I love the smell of smoke and Miller the next morning. Saturday was great. Started drinking with the Marquette engineering alumni around 10am and continuing on so until around 1am. The game was fun, but no win for us. I blame it on no having Freeway at the game. To many lites to count, but I had a great time. I trust that everyone else did too.
