Husker Du?

Ah, Special Red. The day after Thanksgiving Meg and I headed to Lincoln to attempt to see a football game at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. Apparently there's quite the rivalry with Colorado, which I don't fully understand, and it's a huge post-turkey day event. A solid group of guys that are buddies with Meg's sister, Kristen, let us tag along and see what happens in the parking lots around Nebraska's Memorial Stadium. A number of Coors lights and a good game of bean-bag toss later, we tried to get tickets, but I guess that these Huskers are serious fans. The game started 0-14 in favor of Colorado and tickets (mind you Nebraska is the home team) were going for almost twice face value. We decided that the free nachos at Iguana's bar was the better deal and we watched the rest of the game with muchos queso and cervezas. Good call.

Kristen is a supermegawesome multi-tasker.
This guy is my hero. And for the record, those are gas-powered coolers they're riding.
Awwwwwww, so cute. Blaaaaaaaaugh! Just kidding, Casey and Kris rock.
Meg having a miserable, no good, very bad time.
Cheers!
