Skol Vikes!
Shhh! Don't tell anyone, but the Vikes got knocked out of the playoffs and aren't won't ever playing in the Super Bowl. But I do have to say that I'm quite excited for the game Sunday. Why? You may ask. Well, as a super Minnesota rube I'm looking forward to the barrage of advertisements, and the possibility of either Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin or Minnesota native Larry Fitzgerald, Jr. emerging as champions. Honestly, I don't care much about the game, but I did stumble onto a great find via UniWatch that has all the past Super Bowl logos. Minnesotans will remember Super Bowl XXVI (1992) as it was in the Metrodome and coincided with the construction of the world's tallest ice palace, but I particularily like the logo this year. And yes, it only matches the Jets, Eagles or Packers uniforms (don't start about Seattle's neon green) but I think that it's pretty swell. Anyways, enjoy Sunday. We will.
