2 Years!

I can't believe it's already been two years since Meg and I got hitched in Omaha.  Time has truly flown by.  I'm typically terrible with keeping up on important dates like birthdays, etc. and true to tradition Eva in my office reminded me this past Monday of the importance of February 17.  During our office's weekly planning meeting nonetheless, which yielded zero compassion from the gang.  Lots of teasing though.  Oh well.  We had a romantic evening of walking up to Lifetime and Chipotle (in that order) and then meeting up with my parents and the Winter Carnival crew downtown.  It was a really nice time, no frills, but that's what we're like I guess.

Looking back, I find it funny to think about all the planning and coordinating that went into the wedding and preparation for marriage.  It seems like that was all a week ago, but in that time we've moved twice (Minneapolis to Merriam Park to Highland) built up some serious frequent flier miles and seen quite a bit of the country.  We've had loads of great nights talking with friends and meeting good people, and we've started to understand what working at a marriage means.  Gives and takes all around, and thus far it's been a blast.  So for the last few years, thank you, Meg.  It's been wonderful!
