This past weekend two of Carl's good friends from high school got married. This wedding was quite possibly the most anticipated event of our summer. Because Carl has known these two for so long, the wedding brought together a lot of people that we rarely get a chance to see; which, in my opinion, is one of the best parts of weddings.
Carl had the honor of being a groomsman for Mike, and he was also the official boutonniere attacher. All the guys looked quite handsome in their gray tuxes and argyle ties, while the ladies donned beautiful navy blue dresses.
This wedding easily ranked up in the top five of all weddings we have ever attended. Mike told me weeks before the wedding that once he hit the dance floor, he wouldn't leave. I laughed at him and told him good luck with that one - well, he stayed true to his word. He did not leave the dance floor and neither did almost everyone else at the reception.
What an incredible evening! We wish both of you nothing but joy and happiness as you begin your life together!
