In the landing pattern

Oh baby Schnee it's been a pretty fun nine months waiting for you. There's so many questions left unanswered, but I'm sure that we'll figure them out in the near future. It's funny how having a kid is one of the only things that you get to partake in during life where you can have absolutely zero experience in but full responsibility for. It makes me grateful for great parents and wonderful in-laws. I'm sure that my crazy siblings and friends are excited to teach you things that will drive Meg and I nuts, just remember that not everything Uncle Dan says is true (especially when he says it's true) and that you don't have to do everything Uncle Pat does. But that's going to more important when you learn to talk and becoming more mobile than just tottering about so don't worry about that now.

Oh, it's going to be fun with you! You're going to get to meet all the great people in Nebraska, Milwaukee, Chicago and everywhere else and you'll have some friends the same age as you too! We're going to learn to fish, bike and take things apart (I hopefully put them back together), and you're going to learn to read because Mom and I will wear the pages out before you can turn them yourself. But hopefully, we can show you the way to be a good person who cares about everyone and helps out when it's needed.

We're very excited to meet you.
